What makes a poem “musical”? Why do some lines seem to tap-dance off the page while others fall flat? Why do some phrases just feel good on the lips, while others come out clunky? This workshop will de-mystify poetic musicality and lyricism by offering practical instruction in the vowel scale, the consonant scale, and rhyme. Poets of all levels are welcome to come try out new techniques and share with others in this generative workshop!
